New Opening: Meadowhall Just Got a Whole Lot More Beautiful Thanks to Sephora

Yes - you have read that correctly… global beauty giant Sephora has JUST opened in Meadowhall, it's first Yorkshire store, and we were invited down on Thursday night to get a quick shop in before it's official opening on Friday 11th July.

The invite gave us and a number of others the chance to sample the new store's offering as well as a couple of extra treats. The store stocks over 135 brands, some of which we haven't seen in any Sheffield store before, alongside a bunch of Sephora exclusives, making it a very welcome addition to the city's growing retail portfolio.

There are beauty services available in-store, and were available to us to sample during the evening including makeup application services and skin consultations. Appointments can be booked for yourself via the Sephora website. For Thursday's opening preview, there was also a stand to get permanent jewellery, and a poet with typewriter, both crafting bespoke treats for those invited.

The visitors were treated to an opening night speech from Managing Director of Sephora UK, Sarah Boyd, who was full of praise for the city, Meadowhall and the store staff who have worked hard for 2 years to get the store open. We were also lucky enough to walk away with one of the much-coveted Sephora goodie bags before we left.

Inside the goodie bag there are Sephora exclusives, including their face masks and an addictive perfume by Fugazzi, called Magic Mango (which we highly recommend!), as well as a whole host of skincare, beauty and haircare products to try.

The store officially opened to the public as of Friday morning - which saw the biggest queue we’ve ever seen at Meadowhall - where the first 500 people through the door received a goodie bag. We can definitely say we understand the hype!

Sephora Meadowhall is well worth a visit, whether you're a makeup aficionado or not. The staff are extremely helpful and the store itself is easy to navigate and a bright and exciting space to be in. Located on the former All Saints site up on the Upper High Street in Meadowhall, Sephora is a real treat to have in Sheffield, and we can't wait to keep visiting.
