Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, royals and peasants: for the first time ever, you can hear your favourite hits and see beloved stars from the multi-BAFTA-winning CBBC series in Horrible Histories Live (and Dead!) on Stage.
Award-winning composer and the man behind all of your favourite Horrible Histories songs, Richie Webb is set to lead the live band as Musical Director, bringing to life the show’s iconic soundtrack.
Taking to the stage are some familiar faces from both Horrible Histories and its spin-off Horrible Science. The cast includes one of the show’s longest serving performers, Richard David-Caine (Class Dismissed, CBeebies’ Swashbuckle), original cast member Alison Fitzjon, and the creative force behind all the Horrible stage shows since 2005, Neal Foster. Additional stars include Harrie Hayes, Inel Tomlinson, Ethan Lawrence (Netflix’s After Life) and Verona Rose (Top Boy, Fully Blown).
No matter what your age, Horrible Histories is beloved by all. Whether you grew up with the original cast, are a current fan of the show or are a parent who "pretends" to be only *slightly* interested, the series has something for everyone. The creators behind Horrible Histories Live (and Dead!) on Stage promise a once-in-a-lifetime experience for fans!
So, what could this show possibly be about? Let’s see…
When iconic playwright, William Shakespeare is challenged to create the greatest show on earth, this impossible task is the least of his worries. Monstrous monarchs like King Henry VIII, Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Victoria join to cause mischief and mayhem. When Death appears, things get even more horrible. Boudica and Cleopatra battle for power. Vikings raid the stage – and that’s not even the half of it!
Get ready to sing along to all the iconic songs and parodies from the hit show, with guest appearances from fan favourites including Charles II and Dick Turpin. Horrible Histories – The Concert promises a delightfully Horrible night out.
Horrible Histories - The Concert is coming to Sheffield City Hall on March 8 th . Tickets are on sale now here with prices from £18
