Leading hospitality brand Radisson Blu are opening a new hotel in Sheffield city centre just in time for summer, with bookings open now.
The flagship hotel is situated between Burgess Street and Pinstone Street, across from the Peace Gardens and Town Hall, and will boast 154 rooms plus a unique rooftop bar and restaurant overlooking the iconic water features of the Peace Gardens.
The hotel will also offer conference facilities and flexible event spaces, attracting a variety of customers with a range of needs including both business and leisure. The hotel is classed as an ‘upper mid-scale’ hotel, providing luxury, quality and style to its customers.
The hotel is part of Sheffield City Council’s £480 million Heart of the City project, which seeks to attract new customers and bring commercial opportunities to Sheffield city centre. Other developments under the Heart of the City scheme include Cambridge Street Collective (food hall), Søstrene Grene, Fjällräven and Yard's Store (retail), and the relocation of much-loved Savills (barbers) into one of the brand new boutique units within Laycock House.
The opening date for the hotel is set for 10th June 2024. We can’t wait to visit once it is opened and believe it will be a fantastic addition to Sheffield City Centre for both locals and visitors.
