Shop vintage garms with a clear conscience at Worth the Weight

Start July off right by supporting Sheffield’s own fight against fast fashion. Since 2018, locals Worth the Weight Vintage have taken the country by storm by travelling the length and breadth of the country with tonnes of vintage stock each weekend, providing eco conscious individuals with a fashionable fix.

This Saturday 1st July, the Manton Street warehouse will be full of 60 rails of vintage garments - rare and ripe for the taking. Expect denim, retro sports gear, vintage ladieswear and the latest thrift trends in menswear. If you’re anything like me, you’ll be dead excited by the accessories on show - trinkets and treasures from across the decades. And it’s British Festival season, people! Style out the sun and showers with their array of outerwear - get ready for Tramlines and beyond.

There’ll be nine tonnes of handpicked vintage and pre-owned stock to have a rummage through! Just pack your bag (mine will be to the brim, I’m sure) and pay at the scales and the end of your shop. It’s just £15 per kilo, with their stellar prices starting at just 75p. It’s a cost effective way to shop sustainably in bulk. You’re helping the environment, your bank balance and your wardrobe - sounds like a win-win really.

Open 9am - 5pm this Saturday, entry is FREE. Head down and get involved!
