The youthful British boy band, December 10 has announced a national tour ahead of their upcoming headline show at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 8 April.


The demand for December 10 exceeded capacity with their last tour in February, which saw them perform 13 sold-out shows to more than 6,500 fans across the UK and Ireland. As well as a special show in Tokyo, Japan.


In a statement, December 10 said: “We loved our Introducing! run of shows - as in LOVED - that was collectively the favourite week of our lives… so it was time to take the next step and go on the road again.


"Hendrik came up with the name when we were at dinner yesterday in Tokyo, as this tour really feels like we are taking the next step. We are buzzing to add new music to the setlist and get back on the tour bus and on the road."


December 10 are a burgeoning new act created on the Netflix reality show Simon Cowell: The Next Act and signed to EMI, they are showing no signs of stopping. The boy band consists of Cruz (19), Danny (17), Hendrik (19), John (17), Josh (17), Nicolas (17) and Seán (19). The diverse septet hail from different cities, including London, Dublin, Walsall, Lisbon, Rochester and Chorley.


The boy band have over 6 million YouTube views across their performance and music videos. As well as over 600,000 monthly listeners, missing the top 40 has not dampened their style.


The Next Step tour kicks off in Edinburgh on Friday 10 July and ends on Tuesday 21 July in Dublin. The tour will cover 7 cities across the UK and Ireland. They will arrive in Sheffield at the Electric Studios on Monday 13th.
